It was not a clothing order...it was a kitchen item! I am aware of the delay on the clothing since it was in the discussion when presented on air. Back orders should be clearly stated on air and online so customers can make decisions on waiting or not.

Yes, there are DELAYS... (And from Amazon, too.) It is even taking 10 days for my US MAIL from other cities.

@Gabidog my apologies. I do see the order for the kitchen item was cancelled. There are times when orders temporarily go into a back order status as the information moves through our warehouse systems. Q Customer for 38 years. Never seen "Processing Order" take up to 12 days before it ships.
Called CS this morning, hold time MORE than 5 minutes, opted for them to call me back.
After 15 minutes, they did not call back (even though the recording said call back would be in less than 5 minutes).
So, I called CS again and was told I was in the prompt for a call back. Another 15 minutes goes by, no call back.
So, I called CS for a THIRD time in 40 minutes, and waited to speak to a CS Rep.
Q had received a return 6 days ago, and the credit still did not show up online under "order details" - wasn't even calling about the bank credit showing - just the return showing up on Q's end of the return.
OK, I understand......
CS is Slow/backed up
Shipping is slow/backed up
Processing orders are slow/backed up.
And lots of luck you Tic Toc purchasers!
(That younger crowd expects their items within a week - and not the 3 weeks it is taking now.)

That seems like WAY too much trouble all those calls. I would never waste all that time just to have CS be unable to do anything for me! They have no control and basically, see the same info we do. They can't 'call' the warehouse and have my item get moving!!!
I would shop elsewhere if delivery was an issue.
Qvc has ALWAYS been slow, had processing lag times etc etc....so it should be of no surprise.
They don't process our returns the same day they receive it!
Again, NO surprise.
Thankfully, QVC does NOT sell life sustaining products.

Looks like they are going back to Covid like selling. Goods were somewhere in the Pacific and were not in the warehouses to do immediate shipping. If they dont have it in the warehouse, dont sell it.

Latest update: I have an order that has been "In Process" for 15 days.
It's not on backorder, it's not out of stock.

You are correct San Antonio gal...not willing to wait when there is no idea when it would ship. If a company has a product on air and at the time in stock then switches it to back order...to me that is false advertising. And no not willing to pay more at Amazon. There are too many shopping options for same or similar items to waste my time and money. If you are willing to wait...feel free! But don't condemn me for not waiting. You don't even know if I bought it for a gift with a time limit. Just more snarky posters...ruin this discussion over and over.

Two times in a row now squirrel Nuta did not honor the order. QVC should have control on what there vendors do. Just because the price went up they should not be able to canlel the order that was bought at the previous price.
I have lost faith in QVC and their vendors.
