Re: Post Office Refusing to Accept Return Package

@Stirley.  Did you read the procedure for using the QR code?  8 took m8ne with no label to the UPS store.  They scanned my code, made a label and in one minute, I was out the door.

Re: Post Office Refusing to Accept Return Package

I was curious and looked up , USPS code 569. Evidently it is a specific code for a destination on all pre preinted postage labels.  Smart labeling. Hmmm? as to why they weren't accepting it you have to read  deeper, as it was pages long on the USPS site lol.  I think qvc should send you a new one or new Q code   Let us know what happened.

Re: Post Office Refusing to Accept Return Package

@Stirley I don't understand the problem.  Our USPS has never accepted the UPS label for a return.  I always take the item with the appropriate label in place to either USPS or UPS.   I am careful if I print out a return label to ensure I print the appropriate one.  Why can't you just take the package to the UPS?

And I agree that your title in misleading in that they are refusing to process the package with the wrong label in place not refusing to accept a return.

Re: Post Office Refusing to Accept Return Package

I've never had to return anything to QVC. I read about the QR code. What's wrong with using it? I do that with Amazon and it's easier than printing a label.

Re: Post Office Refusing to Accept Return Package

UPS also accepts US Mail.  Plus...the UPS agent is also a Notary Public.

This comes in handy when you need something notrarized before mailing the document.

If all else fails, address the package yourself and return with you paying postage up front.  Return addresses can be found on QVC website.

You may have to make sure you don't get the Q label return fee deducted from your return though.  They usually deduct it automatically.  You would have to call customer service, so make sure you document that you paid yourself.

you obviously printed a UPS label instead of a USPS label. Just drop the package off at a UPS Location.  Your title is misleading bc it's not an issue that the PO won't accept the package, it's your fault for taking a UPS package to the local PO. the equivalent would be taking a USPS to the FED EX Drop off.

Your accusations are False.

The OP said:

with the return label that QVC provided

She Never said she printed her own.

@Stirley

I have used the return label Q provided 2x in the last 2 weeks with no issues with USPS.  They took it just fine.

I have 3 going today....we shall see if my post office says the same thing yours did.

Re: Post Office Refusing to Accept Return Package

I have the opposite issue. UPS sends me to the PO. I understood label provided was either or. Since  return labels are no longer going to be provided, my call.

Re: Post Office Refusing to Accept Return Package

@Stirley

I just dropped off 3 exchanges (3 diff bags) using the Q prepaid label at the post office.

They all had code 569 on the labels.

NO problems...when I asked about what you said, the Clerk had never heard of such an issue.

Sorry that happened to you!
