I have just learned that an item that I order on 12/14 was NOT guaranteed for delivery by Christmas! ARGH!
When I contacted customer service via chat, I was simply told "that item is not guaranteed for Christmas delivery" and when I asked why, the individual simply typed the same statement again.
When I called customer service, I was told the item was not guaranteed for Christmas delivery because I ordered online. WHAT?
When I called again and spoke with another individual in customer service, I was told, "yes, it should have been delivered today".
Does anyone know what's going on with QVC orders and/or the Christmas delivery guarantee?

12/14? I ordered something from JTV on 12/2 and I still don't have it! When I called them I was told it has been sitting in the post office about 15 minutes from my house since 12/14! They want me to call the post office and track it down! Now that is poor customer service!
How is it that some companies can get merchandise to you without issue and other have every excuse in the book?! No more JTV for me.
I hope you get your package! I am out a Christmas package and will be doing my own customer service in tracking down my purchase!

It seems it depends on who you speak to. Perhaps you should speak to a supervisor and request UPS expedited shipping at no charge to you . If you ordered the item on the 14th , it should have arrived.

Not all items shipped by QVC have the same delivery guarantee. A computer being shipped from China understandably takes longer than a widget shipped from West Chester, PA. The "guarantee" should be taken with fervent hope and a prayer as it should be obvious that once shipped, the Q has no control. Bottom line: don't wait until the last minute and shop early. Shipping is a mess this year.

What was the delivery date when it was ordered and what does the system say now.
I called about two returns the other day and was told Rocky Mount wasn't processing returns because all the workers were processing outbound packages. I said I understand, but that has nothing to do with the problem I was calling about. She repeated the same story, then told me I needed to be patient.

I don't usually have much if any sympathy for these situations but it doesn't help anything that a customer can call multiple times and get a different answer each time so you don't know which answer is correct. That's just sloppy training and/or non-training, plus bad data input that's nothing to do with CS.
And honestly, from what people have said here enough times with enough credibility that I believe it, asking to speak to a supervisor is a joke. They either refuse outright, tell you someone will call you later and no one ever does, or put you on the phone with another CS rep like them who pretends to be a supervisor.
What I'm curious about is when someone posts here with a genuine tale of woe and a moderator apologizes for how they were treated/what happened, if the moderator finds out that the CS rep(s) behaved very inappropriately, are they reprimanded, counseled, fired? Or nothing.

@Major Shopper, my former USPS letter carrier believed she carried enough mail just getting the first class to us, so she habitually left magazines and packages for the sub to deliver on her day off.
The sub, knowing extra work was being left for her, refused to deliver "leftover" mail on the one day she filled in, and left it for the regular to deliver
Maybe that's going on in your zip code as well. I suggest you go to your local post office and inquire about your package.

If you didn't know what the guarantee was, how can you state it was poor customer service? Makes no sense.
Every year the forum is innodated with "complaints" of late deliveries. This year it hasn't changed nor it will change next year.
