Pending payments, new card just arrived

My new debit card that I use as "mad money" arrived. My current one goes out in Dec. I question is since I've never missed a payment on anything before will I get penalized by QVC should the things that at pending now "be late" since the new card will be activated on Thursday, and things tend to take a few days to come out?

I have things pending from this weekend, and a few EZP's coming out today, tomorrow and Wed. I was going to pay those off today, but wasn't sure when they'd come out officially.

Note: I was expecting my card to come next week, but it came Saturday evening after I had shopped. I don't think I can add it as another card since the numbers are the same, only the security number on the back is new.

Re: Pending payments, new card just arrived

@Ane1CareWhen my credit cards change over, all I have to do is update the expiration date and the security code and everything works as it should.

No idea about how to use a debit card online.  I know there are differences between debit and credit, but I've never seen anyone come here and say updating doesn't keep things moving.

Have you tried customer service?  I'm sure they're busy, but that's hwere I'd go.  Or maybe a Moderator will answer right here.

@Anonymous I haven't gotten an email yet. I checked the spam folder and it's not there either. The last one I have from QVC was 11 hrs ago about the Cyber Monday sale. Thank you for helping me.

@Ane1Care Sorry, we sent it to the email address on your membership account.  Our Customer Service Team will be able to help with your new card. Unfortunately we can't, for your protection, take any credit/debit card info through email.   Cindy

Oh yeah, that's what I figured. I just didn't know how it would work switching cards while there are pending payments.

Re: Pending payments, new card just arrived

Usually I get an email from Customer Service to call or I can see online that there is an issue with an EAsy Pay or AD payment when my cards switch.

I sometimes forget about the ADs and Easy Pays when my cards switch.

I keep a list of all the places I use my card for things (like my Easy Pass toll account) but I always forget about QVC.

Re: Pending payments, new card just arrived

The pending payments can be changed to the new card.  Best to contact customer service or wait a couple days until everything ships.
