There is the convenience factor for sure. But I feel like QVC was one of the first retailers to offer “easy pay”. For me it was a tempting little known payment option and made things out of my reach seem more affordable. I shudder to think of the Q Card balances for some of the loyal “Saturday Date Night” shoppers!

Penney's is still alive and well in my area.

@LisaLisaD  I've shopped QVC since day one. I agree 100%. Often times they are laughable.  Occasionally there is an actual "V"alue deal, but it's rare.  Also, I'm so sick of the same names featured constantly.

I really noticed the prices for D & Co yesterday during their shows---and those were sales prices for some pieces. Just cannot spend $60+ on a t-shirt top!! I remember waaaayyyy back when for $50 you got a top and pants----I know that was when the dinosauers were walking the earth~I just spent almost $150 on 3 pairs of DG2 jeans-----and that made me gag a little---BUT---they were on sale or a  perceived sale and they fit me like I had them made for me---a first for a shopping channel brand. And I will have them for a very long time--hopefully

The prices for most of the clothing lines have gotten way out of hand, for items that are really not that special! Susan Graver tops, over 60 bucks? C'mon. Kim G, ridiculous for the items she sells. I can't shop here anymore. I get just as nice or better in TJMaxx for wayyy less!

Here we go again! QVC has never been a discount store. Yes, prices are high as they are

everywhere.

I have one better. 3 days ago, I purchased 2 Beekman Soap and lotion set for 49.96. Today, I see it for 1/2 off. I realize that QVC will most likely be filing for bankrupcy, but don't take it out on the cusotmers who keep you in business. I will call Customer Service and DEMAND a refund. I usually purchase my Beekman products from HSN but this was a better price. Comon QVC REALLY???????????????

@Teacher23  -  Are you upset because the Q placed the soap on sale the day after you made the purchase?  How is putting it on sale taking it out on the customer?

@ellaphant What you say is true,  but there is little Value left.  Maybe qVc should change it's name!

Department stores change prices all the time. Even Marshall's, TJ Max, Homegoods, drop prices and put things on clearance. Qvc is no different. They can ahange prices anytime they want. If you buy something in Macys, do you go back two days later to see if they dropped the price? I doubt it. I don't get why you think they can not reduce something.

@nyc1
They should just change their name. They no longer have quality value or convenience.
