I thought the system was fixed when I was placing my order at about 2:45 CT. I clicked through ebates to get 10% rebate and got to the last screen before placing my order. A note said that due to the technical difficulties, they were unable to list the appropriate tax but that it would all be calculated and the order would go through. I pressed the button. I checked back later and realized that I never got the normal emailed receipt from QVC OR from ebates.
I then tried to do a live chat with QVC. After a long wait, someone came on and said they would help me. I typed a long note and then nothing. Finally messages popped up (inside the Live Chat box) that said "unable to connect to server." My home server was just fine at the time so it was on QVC's end. The chat person never came back on, so I copied my long message and emailed it to them instead. It's now 5 hours later and my order still hasn't shown up. I could have a customer service person redo it, but (I know this sounds petty) I wouldn't get the 10%, which in this case was around $37.00.
I guess I'll wait and see if it processes by tomorrow morning and go from there.

I understand your feelings. I also went from ebates to the website to checkout. The difference was that I stopped before I actually placed the order once I got the message about technical,problems. I actually just placed the order this evening. This darn website seems to have more problems than other websites. Perhaps your order went through and just is not showing up yet. Fingers crossed for you.

If the order isn't showing in your account, I'd say it didn't get placed. I've had those messages before about the tax, but the order still displayed under my orders.

@santorini My orders aren't showing either and the wait time is beyond my patience limit for CS. If they don't show up tomorrow I'll forget about them. I understand that things happen but it sure is aggravating.

@GCR18 I think you're right. I've had delays in my orders showing on my order history but not this long after placing the order. I don't think they went through. If you really want something reorder now and if they show cancel one of them. CS has a long wait right now so if I decide to reorder and need to cancel one I'll email and tell them why just to be nice. lol

@lucymo I'd say order again if you want it. I can't see how there would be orders floating around that aren't "placed".

@lucymo Mine didn't go through either though it appeared that they did, but discovered later that they didn't, so I was so fed up with the issues today, that I didn't buy anything, who needs this aggravation.

@mousiegirl It's so aggravating, isn't it? I ordered on my phone and it seemed normal but never got an order # or an email so I don't think it left my house. I ordered on my computer for the other item and it was so crazy so don't expect it either. Five EP's ended on time though, I believe.

My order is not showing either. As you said the 5EP ended on time. QVC should consider this and open a new 5EP window. Very frustrating...and not customer service...

Same with me. I put in an order around noon est and got the message tax etc would be adjusted later but order would be processed. Got home later and checked online...no order in my acct. Called customer service ...no record of my online order and the 2 items I wanted were sold out in my size. Oh well, live and learn. They should have just posted online ordering was down but that's not the message I got.
