This has happened to me twice and it is so WRONG. I can't be the only one and
QVC should address this. I tried to order something and a sign came up saying
their online was not working and to call customer service to order. I did not
call and changed my mind and did not order. Five hours later I went on line
to see how my other orders were doing and there it was. The order I never
placed. I tried to cancel; I could not cancel. I called customer service and
they could not cancel. I am really, really super annoyed which never happens
with me and QVC.

@bibesIf you haven't already discussed with CS how to refuse those orders so that you're not charged to return them, I'd call CS immediately and ask questions!
Curiosity question - did you get an email thanking you for that order; I see that within seconds for any order, new or auto-delivery.

@bibes You must have hit the "submit" button or you wouldn't have gotten the message that you couldn't order online. If you hit submit then you actually did order it. You just changed your mind after you thought you couldn't order it.

I am so sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you. We have had certain glitches whereby orders do not appear in a timely manner so it appears they were not placed. This causes chaos for both the customer service reps and more importantedly our customers.Please let me know what items this has impacted so I will be sure to mark them that you wished to cancel. Once marked, the item will not incur any fees when we refund you. Again, really sorry!

This happened to me about a week ago...I submitted my order and the order did not appear in the Order Status so I hit the back button and then hit submit again and this time I saw the order in Order Status. About an hour later I checked and noticed there were duplicate orders; but I was able to cancel the additional order. I thought that the order did not submit but it did. I am going to be more careful in the future because I have had orders that were cancelled to still ship. I have noticed when it is high volume shopping (especially FREE SHIPPING and EASY PAY ON EVERYTHING) the systems seems to have glitches.

Regarding the person who stated once I pushed the submit button I ordered,
I disagree. When I pushed that button, the notice came up that their
internet ordering was not working and if I wished the top, I should call
customer service. With that reply, I believe I am justified in my belief
that no order was placed.
No, I didn't get an email indicating I had made an order. I am such a
frequent shopper they don't bother with that anymore.
Thank you, Customer Service, I do know now that once the return label
indicates the item has been shipped, you will give me a full refund. But I still remain not happy aboutthe whole scenario. An order placed that was not ordered; and no
cancellation within five hours.

This happened to me at HSN! I had the item in my cart but didn't order it and the next thing I know the items were sent to me. It was a hassle to return since the post office wouldn't take them and had to go to the UPS store to send them back.
