I tried several times to OPT-OUT of text messages by using the industry standard of texting "STOP".....it didn't work. I contacted customer service who told me they would send a message to corporate, but I should wait 3 days.  I continued to get texts after 3 days.  Just had an online CHAT and was told that I have to wait an additional 10 days because of some systems problem.  ALWAYS BLAME IT ON "the SYSTEM"!  So glad that we're in the hi-tech/digital era........think QVC is still using the "pony express".

Have you placed an order since you opted out?  Make sure each order has the "send me text" option unchecked or they will still keep coming.

you might try to block

 

 

To block someone from texting you, you must block them within your phone's messaging app, which varies between iPhone and Android devices. On an iPhone, open the conversation, tap the sender's name, then choose Info > Block this Caller. On Android, open the text, tap the More icon (three dots), and select Block or Block contact to stop messages and calls from that number.

Go into your account settings and uncheck the receive texts box.

Where is the "option" to not receive texts when you place an order? I too am getting lots of them and would like to cancel the option.  I do block the number when I get a text, but the next shipping order has a new number.

So glad I never signed up for any "texts" from anywhere since I don't have a smartphone, just a flip Tracfone.  DH's phone "beeps" frequently with junk.

It's under Account Settings.  I can't post a screenshot because I removed my cell number from the account so it doesn't show.

I don't see it either  @Jeletta 

 

Under account settings, there is a section for email preferences but NOT for text preferences.

 

If I go to My account, it has mobile phone box, but nothing there either to uncheck receiving texts.  It just shows my cell number listed.

 

I did get them but replying STOP worked immediately for me.

 

 

When I place an order, there is NO text box when I use my laptop or desk top.

 

It IS there on my Kindle AND my phone.  It is WAY low at the very bottom of all the order info.

 

I now know to Uncheck it.

 

However, it is automatically checked on every order!  I can't find anywhere to permanently say Do NOT text me !

I have no option in my Q account settings to opt out of texts.  Emails, yes. Texts, no.

 

Here is the text option for orders (circled in red):

ETA:  The default option is always checked to receive texts.
