I wanted to bring everyone up to date on my continuing drama with Ebates. I am hopeful that QVC will be able to help me since according to Ebates, my problem seems to be with how QVC says I ordered the products that I should receive money back on.
Here is my original message.....
"Everything was fine until last summer. I have had my Cash Back account mysteriously drained of my money. The first time, I jumped through all of their hoops to have things restored. The situation was escalated to a CS rep with more authority. She gave me an extra $10 for my trouble and assured me the problem was solved.
In September the same thing happened. The problem was escalated again and fixed. I was also assured that it shouldn't happen again and that QVC was the problem because of how they manage the Cash Back. Strange, things were fine for 18 months before it happened the first time.
Well, guess what? It has happened again. This time Kohl's as well as QVC purchases were impacted. I have lost about $25. This happened overnight. When I checked at about 9:30 PM my money was there. The next morning, it was gone. I emailed last week and still have no response. $7.45 was restored, but that is no where near what I have lost. The efforts that you have to go through to have any transaction verified and restored are ridiculous if you have over a dozen transactions. I have checked the account every day to stay on top of things. It was all fine until last week. Now, I have 14 transactions that have vanished from the Cash Back page."
After waiting for 6 weeks to get a response from QVC, Ebates now tells me that QVC said my orders did not qualify because they were placed over the phone. This is not true. All of my orders were placed online. I never speak to QVC on the phone unless I need to resolve a problem through Customer Service. In fact, I have spoken to them three times in the past several months. Once was because they sent the wrong item. The other two times were because of Credit Card fraud. I am shocked at the complete lack of customer concern. I am so upset over the lie that has been perpertrated regarding my orders. I have dealt with QVC and Ebates in good faith and feel totally betrayed because companies want to keep money in their pockets!!!
I would appreciate some help from QVC to resolve this matter. I really don't know who to believe anymore. Offers of cash back should not be made if there is no intention to honor their commitment to the customer.
I am adding the reply that I just received from Ebates! I think that this is a huge "cop out". Why would bringing a concern to CS about fraud or the shipment of the wrong item causing your Cash Back to suddenly go away. The interesting thing is that those 3 phone calls were made in the last 2 weeks not when my original complaint was emailed to Ebates!!!
"It seems that when you reached out to the store directly, it caused them to make some type of change to your orders that broke the link to Ebates for earning Cash Back. Unfortunately, we are not able to add Cash Back to your account for these orders since the store declined our request."
Solved! Go to the Best Answer.

@Tuppermore I was having the same problems with Ebates and QVC, Ebates blamed QVC 100% saying that QVC had yet to confirm the purchase. So I copied and pasted the ordrr information right from my account and sent it directly to ebates, since I started doing that, the problems have resolved themselves, but then again I have chosen to stop shpping on QVC, way too many problems over the last year!

@Tuppermore I think you just need to move on.... seems like this is getting more and more confusing and draining. I use mrRebates and never have had any kind of problem.. Just try them and move on.....

Thank you for your response Carebears. I have 14 orders that need to be replied to. I spent a couple of hours the first time I had this same problem. I decided that they could figure it out since those 14 disappeared overnight. I am still hopeful that QVC will help me. I have always found them to be responsive when I had trouble. Customer Service is one of the main reasons that I choose to shop with certain companies. The list is getting shorter though. Businesses don't seem to care that much about how their customers are treated anymore. Our culture has changed so much and not for the better. .

Sorry you are have so many problems. I have never used Ebates as I have always used Mr. Rebates.
If you don't get paid a rebate with them you just fill out the form online with your invoice info, date, etc & they put the money in your account & send you an email. I have had to do that several times but always got paid. Your click history does have to show where you were shopping the same dates as your invoice.
I used the $15 cash back thru retailmenot for QVC & was paid for those even when making a purchase of the TSV. I did not know if it would work for that but it did.
I also used cash back with HSN on TSVs & received those.

It's also happening with Q on MrRebates. What's the common denominator? Q, of course.

@Tuppermore - If you don't get a reply here from the mods, you can email them directly at QVCSocialTeam@qvc.com.
