Now you're not including the return postage with the packing slip???

Just received a shipment and there was a packing slip - in case I need to do any change or return..  But to my surprise - there is no return postage on the other side of the slip!!  Really QVC - come on. And if I need to do an exchange, your site is NOT set up to do exchanges - only returns and then when you are forced to choose return - $6.95 is automatically deducted..............  I have been a customer for over 25+ years - this is not acceptable. Also, why is it if you charge $3.50 to ship out - you charge $6.95 for returns...  I am truly going to very leary for future orders. Be consistent please...........

Heads up Dear, you will also be charged a return label fee.  I was chargd $10.40 to return a top.  Ridiculous.  I will be limiting my purchases from QVC or shopping elsewhere.  Smiley Sad

@Sunniegirl.  You need to go to the website and read the instructions for making returns and exchanges.  Of course you can do an exchange.  If you don't do it correctly, it won't work though.

Re: Now you're not including the return postage with the packing slip???

Customer service has been saying for some time that they were phasing out shipping labels.  It's been hit or miss with me--sometimes I get a label with a return slip, other times I get just a shipping label with no return slip, and still other times I get no slip at all.

As for the rest, the costs have been like that for years now.

Not a comment on the OP but:  People who return things should have to pay for the return if it is not defective or the wrong item.

People who don't return shouldn't have to pay for the returns of other people.  Which is what "free returns" amounts too.

I haven't received a pre-addressed return label for a couple years.  They sent a notice out last month, they will not be doing it anymore. You need to print. Printing labels is a pet peeve of mine.  GRRR!   Surely will make people think before ordering.  And cut down on paper work.  i know qvc has to cut costs and tighten their belt like everyone. But every time they make a cut, it is always at the customers expense. But, everyone is doing it. Even nordies, and they were the last of the CS oriented businesses!!

ETA.  Spelling correction, as usual. Lol

Re: exchanges, I rec'd an order with a top @1 size & the bottom @ another.  I asked for an exhange but my size was no longer available.  I called CS & told them I am returning the outfit & to NOT charge me for the return charges.  They complied.

@Sooner  Agree that it should cost to return an item unless it is defective.  However, there should be no additional shipping charge to receive the item.

This is the pendulum swinging the other way in my opinion.

We will be seeing a return to shopping in stores before long.

If a person cannot try on before purchasing, how are they to know if something fits or not?

Because of liberal return policies, I have been able to shop online...but I’m having my doubts about this lately.

I've always thought of QVC's shipping charges as another income stream for the company.

As for the $3.50 to send but $6.95 to return ... I think that's the "fund" they keep for impromptu "free shipping" sales.

We all know that free shipping isn't free.  Someone has to pay for it.  I think that's us ... and a portion of the $6.95 is where it comes from.

JMO, of course.
