My notifications thing isn't telling me I have a notification! Is everyone else's working?

It's an off & on thing.  Been that way for months! 

What I do is take note of how many notifications I have, go to notifications, start from the top of the number of notifications I have & go from there.

I don't have any notifications either. It is possible I just don't have any, but usually I have at least one or two.

Mine aren't working either. That started to happen around lunchtime.

I haven't had any notifications since this morning, and they may have been from overnight.  I might not have any anyway but have no way of knowing.

Yes, they're broken again. I had three notifications on this thread alone and nothing showing up in the notification box to tell me I have them and even when I go to check the listing, they aren't there.

Add me to the chorus.  I noticed some sketchy things this morning when I was posting, but they seemed to clear up... I see that was temporary.

When the notifications stop working, it affects the moderators, too, so most likely they've reported it.

Each time this happens I'm reminded that we had no notifications, no hearts, no "@+name" feature, before this newer platform was launched.  "You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone... "  I think I take them for granted, do miss them when the system is broken.
