I've been a customer of QVC over 30 years, averaging 4 purchases per month or so.

Twice in the past month I've been informed of my purchase that I did'nt make and of course it was too late to cancel.

It was my fault, I had been scrolling and must have inadvertently grazed an item.

I have deleted my credit card so no more mistakes can be made. For QVC to process an order without an even submit order and not allow cancellation is predatory IMO.

@IMW   I'm not sure I understand your post. How could this happen?

I do feel your frustration. Goodness.

Honestly, I don't know but it won't happen again.

I can't imagine it happening either.  You have to do more than one click when you place an order.

That's happened to me before, too.  Somehow I, what some refer to as "fat fingered", placed an order.  Luckily I saw the received your order email quickly and was able to cancel immediately. Good idea to remove your payment info.  Also good to remove it in the event of a data breach.

I recently placed a rare order at JTV and noticed for some reason my last order there from a couple years ago, a pair of earrings, popped up on the screen.  Not sure how that happened but I received another pair of the earrings I already own plus my new order.

I won't be ordering from them again either.

Bad luck or bad fingers?  Who knows.

For me, I never leave my card on any site at all.  Ever.  That way it takes a second step and perhaps keeps others out of my account on my tablet.  Pretty sure deep in their data they keep my card, but I try 🙂

@Still Raining  You know, good idea!!  I order so little from here that I just deleted my credit card.  It probably still is stored somewhere on the site but as you said, I tried!

There used to be some sort of "quick buy" option that you could place an order with just one click.  I don't know if it's still available, but that's the only way I can see that you could make a purchase without realizing it.

And when I place an order I normally get an email confirmation immediately at which point cancellation would most likely be possible.

"SPEED BUY" still exists for every item.

If you click it  either deliberately or accidentally the purchase is immediately made if you are signed in and have stored information.

No input of anything or review required.
