You complain about suspicious "what are they hiding" aspects and you are dialing the wrong number? Should we ask what are you instigating?
Even if you use the excellent email service team just to make contact you can ask them to call you by providing the order information and the phone number you want to be reached at. Just because initial contact may be by email doesn't mean you can't arrange for further communication by phone.
