I ordered a JAI bracelet J350665.  The first time I wore it, yesterday, it fell off three times.  I put it on this morning and went about my regular business and within 40 minutes it fell off again.  There is no other way to secure the bracelet other than the toggle closure.  I am going to return it but would this be considered defective?  Would I be charged for the return S&H?

I would call CS and tell them that you would like to be refunded for shipping since it appears to be defective...

i would mention the defective clasp on your return slip.

follow up to make sure they did not charge you for using the qvc label and that you receive a full refund on your item.

if you are on facebook, you may want to follow scott grimes qvc, john hardy, and jai jewelry for qvc and mention it to scott on any or all of those pages. he is very good at responding.

I thought that's what customer care was for.  Other people get a response quickly.  It seemed pretty simple to answer.

@makena  I have no idea what customer care here is for, but I have always gone first to CS to ask for info.  Once I have the answer I want, I ask to have it put into my file - although most of the time, I don't even have to ask.. The CS rep tells me that's happening as we talk.

Can you see why the toggle isn't holding?  Is the circle totally  too wide for the toggle or so nearly the same width that there's no way it's going to hold as you're moving around?  That would clearly be defective, imo.

I have one of the earlier versions of this bracelet and it has never, ever fallen off.  Looking at the toggle and comparing them, I can see that the new one clearly has a wider opening and a shorter toggle, hence creating the problem of it not staying put.  I'll just call CS and advise them, mark the slip and return it.

Nex time I have an issue I'll just call CS.

Hi @makena , I apologize that this bracelet is defective. Thank you for posting to us here in the forums about it. I have noted that order not to deduct any fees on this bracelet and I have sent an email with the pre-paid label and return information to the email address associated with your account. We appreciate you shopping here with us at QVC. Please email us at QVCSocialTeam@qvc.com if you need anything. ~Kim

@Kim-QVC

Thank you Kim.  I don't see the email with the label.  I'll just use the pre-paid label that came with the package.

@makena  It's defective in design.  I have a RLM necklace with a huge toggle and it's the same way.  Can't keep it on 5 minutes.  You'd think that these so-called award winning designers could design a simple toggle closure that works.
