Perhaps I am misreading the question, but you shouldn't have TWO deductions for return shipping.  You would pay for shipping on the original order, but QVC would only deduct from your refund the amount on the return shipping label and NOT also the original cost to ship the item to you.  I hope this makes sense!

Technically you pay two shippings.  The original shipping charge is deducted from your refund and you pay for the cost of the return label.  Been this way forever.

Thankyou for your answers. cant beleive a company operates this way.

next time I want to return something I might as well just give it away.

instead of the hassle returning.

Most companies operate the same way.  You pay to get and you pay to return if using the postal service.  I try to buy from where I can return in person.

I only buy from retailers that offer free shipping.  I understand charging for returning an item but the original shipping should always be "free" IMO!

It's why a lot of people wait for free shipping days--like this weekend.

The last one before Christmas, by the way.

One slight advantage of free shipping offers, such as is going on this weekend, is that should you decide to return an item, you would only pay the return shipping cost as there was no original cost to ship it to you.
