@wvumountiefan  RM stands for Rocky Mount, which is the warehouse the item was shipped from.  You may be looking at the return label you would use if you need to return it.  I hope this helps

We have recently changed the label to read RM Returns.  However, you can rest assured that it is a "new" item unless otherwise ordered.

@Melvin-QVC  No, this is what is on the shipping label on the box. I'm still on the fence as to whether I will keep to gift this package. I'm not trying to be picky, but I have received "new" items before that were obviously a customer return. Thanks for your feedback. 🙂

@wvumountiefan  Barbara at QVC just answered in the post right before yours that this is how they're labeling that label now.  She said it absolutely is a new item.

The reason the outside address reads "RM Returns" is because should the package become undeliverable...that is where it would be returned to by USPS or UPS.

It does NOT mean you received items from the return warehouse.

While I myself have also received 'new' items that were obviously used...this is a common labelling practice that has nothing to do with the condition of the item.

At my last job, our shipping depart always listed "______Returns" as the address on the outgoing shipping label.

Like I said, it it was not delivered for any reason...they knew when receiving it back that an order did not reach its destination.   It easily identified a shipping problem.  The pkg. went to the proper department to handle the issue.

RM Returns is the return address - stands for Rocky Mount Returns (one of our warehouses). Some (I think jewelry for example) will have LR - Lancaster Returns. Just new return labeling that's all....

This "returns" address may make sense to QVC, but to the consumer it is confusing.  They should change the name  and take out" return" as to not  confuse their customers.
