Another poster started a post about a horrible experience at Walmart using my sign in.  All responses address the original poster and the original poster is responding using my sign in.  I have been LuvmyLab for years.  Now someone else is using that sign in.  Furthermore I am now showing ujp as BevG, a sign in I haven't used for years.  What is going on?

I sure hope they can get all these issues straightened out.

If someone is posting under your sign in would they have access to your information too?  This is very concerning.

Re: MODS please help

[ Edited ]

Due to a computer glitch many posters were forced to choose another user name for the forums losing their previous one.

In your case, another poster who was forced to choose another nic, probably chose your former nic after it was taken away from you.

The nic used on the forums would not compromise account information, since that's tied to your email address, etc., not your forum user name.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

@Stevie Nix, That poster has photos in her profile. Click on her name and see if those are your photos. If they are you have a problem and I would email the mods right away.

@KingstonsMom   I know that's what a mod said, but I still feel QVC is adding to online danger by not getting to the bottom of their problems.  Every bit of info hacker thieves get is one more piece they don't have to search for.

There is a big problem going on.  Years ago, I was forced to chose a new screen name to sign into QVC forums.  I chose to capalitalize my screen name. instead of changing it completely.

I have been using that nick for ages.  Recently, I have noticed that my nick has reverted to my old one...only the first letter capitalized.

Please check to make sure your correct screen name is listed before you post.

@Stevie Nix   I'll bet that the poster using your nick did nothing to create this error and might not have been aware that it was happening.

I hope this gets fixed pronto.

While the mod's are at it, I wish they would address the issue that some of us can't sign out of the forums. That's unacceptable, too.

Are we on our own to handle these issues, or are they still trying to fix the problems? I've tried everything on my end, to no avail.

@Stevie Nix  check to make sure that the spelling is the same. Capitalizing one letter does make a difference. As someone suggested, check the pictures and see if you recognize them.

On July 4th I signed in and found I'd been given a different forum name. The system notified me my name (Hedge) was already in use.

Yes, by ME!  and I'm trying to get it back!

So my question is, since the software settings replaced your name LuvmyLab with BevG, how did it allow/approve another poster to select LovmyLab as their new nickname? Why didn't they get the same notice saying LovmyLab was a nickname that was already in use?

How can a software glitch be applied inconsistently?

      Hope that's clear.

By the way, when I tried to post a review yesterday the system prompted me to edit/select a new nickname to use in reviews.

It wouldn't let me choose Hedge there either.

@Stevie Nix, Her nic was changed to LuvmyLab. She posted that her nic was KarenK and it was automatically changed. She posted on 7/7.
