I ordered two items on August 20. I went online on September 8 to see when my order might be shipping. I was told there would be a "delay".
I just checked my order now and it shows that both items are now on BACKORDER. I checked both items and both are showing IN STOCK. I was even able to place both items in my cart.
I chatted online and was told that this new information (being on backorder) came from the warehouse. They'll hold onto my order and if the items aren't available in 2-3 weeks, they'll cancel the order.
I've never had this happen before. Is this the new norm now? Items clearly showing IN STOCK but are actually backordered??
Please help.

Hi @lmt We’re very sorry that your order has been backordered. The order can ship any time within 3 weeks. If we are unable to receive more stock, you will be notified and the order will be cancelled. Unfortunately an item may show available online but may be backordered by the warehouse.
