I came upon JT last night while channel surfing and had to turn away after a few minutes.  J was yelling to a model, repeating her name constantly.

A  brow product was being shown with a vendor who tried to go over the colors.  Jane interrupted to say which colors she wore and blabbered on, not letting the vendor speak.

Enough said.

QVC seems to be stuck in a rut to me lately.   They show all the same brands over & over week after week. There's nothing new in the line up anymore--so predictable. And seeing Jane T. dominate the nightly shows is just beyond ridiculous.  I think I'm done with this organization altogether.  There are a lot better options for programming out there these days.

So just shop online if you don't care for the hosts or what is being presented.  Makes sense, no????

There are only a couple of fashion brands that I'm interested in ... and there are only a couple of hosts that I'll watch.

So, I check to see who's hosting and decide if I watch or just do a product review afterwards.

Last year around this time I bought tons of Harvest/Halloween decor on clearance. When I search a year later the same items are still on clearance or higher priced. There is no new or fresh anymore. I used to buy a lot of clothing here  from brands that never see the light of day on TV. Many of those brands are gone, probably due to low sales because no one ever knew they existed. Why not feature some of those brands, instead it is Susan Graver, Denim & Co, Kim whatever her name is ad nauseum.

No, because I may want to see and hear more info about the item on the air. I do shop mainly online with them but I may want more info and sadly is a blabberhost is interrupting the vendor rep I can't get the info I need. So I call the vendor directly and Q loses the sale. Wake Up QVC, your buyers are begging you to make some changes.

i shop the web site.   thousands of items.   i need very little info on a basic item as i have been around for decades and do not need spoon fed.   i always google and do a bit of research on price etc.

i don't buy because of a host

i only watch what/who i like

i have no desire to be miserable

Exactly.  That's the whole point of a shopping channel is offering information you wouldn't have by shopping online.  Except as you say the blabbering consumes the time allotted with very little product information given.

I have been saying for years that QVC is now missing out on one of the few advantages they do have over strictly online retailers: the ability to have a real live person describe the products and see those products demonstrated/modeled.  They used to do this well years ago.

As for just shopping the website, many times it has less product information than what's presented on air.

Me too, I don't watch like I used to...I can see what was presented via my laptop.  Offerings are rarely new and rarely a value.  The bloom has been off the rose for years.

I buy an item occasionally and have a pair of pants on order but most things are to expensie and shipping makes me think twice.  Honestly I prefer to shop local always have.

@PinkyPetunia - The same thing happened to me with another host some years ago. The vendor listed the colors, without describing them, then the host interrupted with the shade SHE was wearing and talked about putting it on. We never heard the vendor describe the shades and we never saw the different models, who were sitting there.

What a waste of time. I thought it was very selfish of the host.
