A254018, Logo Tank was $18 on Lunchtime Special - and was very limited in availability.  Immediately after, it was - and still is - $34 and was available in all sizes.  It is limited in sizes again, but the price is still $34.

Why?  If it was a Lunchtime Special, I assume the Q wanted to sell it out - so why not do so and not withhold sizes until after  - and then almost double the sale price?

@Isobel Archer

The Lunchtime Specials are an opportunity for us to offer first quality items at their lowest prices at QVC to date.  Sometimes the quantites, selections, colors and sizes can be limited.  These specials are a great oppourtunity to take advantage of some terrific deals!

As for A254018, I see that this LOGO tank has indeed returned to a special price of $34.13 (the regular QVC price is $49.00) and must have been popular since it is only available in 2 selections at this time.  We are offering a waitlist on several sizes and colors so we are anticipating receiving more of these tanks.

Keep in mind that the Lunchtime Specials are not the same as our Clearance Prices.  We offer Clearance Prices when we need to make room for brand-new merchandise so you would see much more limited availablity on these items.

I hope this information helps!

Re: Logo Tank Lunchtime Special

I ordered one tank at the $18 price on waitlist - and received it within the week.

Also, immediately after the lunchtime price expired and it was $34, the tank I ordered on waitlist - and the other two colors were available - and not on waitlist.

So while I am happy I got the tank for $18 - I'm not understanding why you want to frustrate customers in this way.  What is the purpose of selling "some" of your merchandise - on "waitlist" and then making the same items available at almost double the price moments later?

I like the tank and would probably order at least one other color, but for almost double the price - no, don't think so.

This is exactly the opposite of buying something at one price and then a day later, it drops and you refund the difference.

@Isobel Archer

First, I am glad that you like your tank!

As for inventory showing available right after the Lunchtime Special, it may have been a case of some customers cancelling their orders thus making a limited number of the tanks appear to be available.  QVC does not limit the amount of inventory released during the specials.  I am sorry for any confusion.

Re: Logo Tank Lunchtime Special

I'ev noticed the same thing happens sometimes when they have easy pay on an item, it sells out and then when you look at it again when the easy pay option has ended it's available.  It's annoying but it's just how it is people jump on them they sell out and then they cancell them.

Re: Logo Tank Lunchtime Special

This happens often.  Shoppers snap up the special, then cancel the order later that day.  If you like something, you almost have to stalk it until the special ends.  Most times, the item will pop back into inventory.  I guess the only way for the q to stop it is to not let you cancel orders.
