@2blonde wrote:@Nonametoday I don't think Chrome is the problem. I use it at work (desktop) and at home (laptop) to access all online shopping, including QVC, and I have no problems with it.
Perhaps coincidental but I have had it on every site I post since I changed, but it could have been just that "timing" is everything.

If this were a QVC site issue wouldn't it affect all of us in some way?
I have not had any issues with jumping at all on my Dell PC, my IPad or my IPhone and I use all three every day at some point. This has been true before and after the site change. My son, who's a Network Engineer told me when I asked him about it that he feels it's probably an individual browser issue.... I hope everyone is able to resolve it, I can't imagine trying to enjoy the site with all that jumping going on.... good luck!

@Q4u, I'm an IT manager/systems analyst/tech support "JIll of all trades," and I agree. It's the way this website interacts with the browsers, software versions, and the different addons/extensions. The "jumping" effect is caused by the way the site loads the promotional banners at the top of the pages. That's why some of us see it and others don't. It really does happen, occasionally, on other sites, too. With my iMac, my addons/extensions block it... with my iPad or iPhone, I switch to the website's "Reader View" if it's available.
We've complained about this problem on the Q site since the new platform was launched. The tech staff are aware and have been aware for more than a year, so my opinion is that nothing will be done to fix the problem. (Not saying people shouldn't post their frustration with this, by the way, just saying evidently it's here to stay.)

Interesting, thank you for your input.... would there be any way to fix this on the consumer's end without QVC fixing how the site loads the banners, etc? And if so many of us are also using the same site, loading the same banners and not have any reaction, would there be any kind of fix on our side?......

Thank you for all the replies .... I know that the "powers be" people at QVC know that this is going on and continue to do nothing. It is happening right now as I am typing this Is why I bumped it up so maybe someone will address this problem. I hope they fix the bugs and the glitches soon.

Hi @apple1964
Thank you for your patience while our technical team addresses the jumping that many visitors to qvc.com experience. I often click the wrong link thanks to the banners loading slower than the rest of the page. The "jumping" can be even more prominent when there is more than one banner at the top of the page that needs to load. As soon as I have information to provide on this problem I will be sure to update everyone. I am sorry I do not have better news to report at this time.
I hope you have a great week!

@Q4u, You're welcome! Thanks for your input, too. The best "fix" for most is to use addons/extensions to block the banners, but those aren't available for some devices. Also, as many of us have said before, this website should be more accommodating to all the devices, software versions, and browsers used by their customers. I'm very, very encouraged by @Keyai's response on this thread! Kudos, @Keyai!
So, fingers crossed, this problem might be resolved if we have a wee bit more patience. Hope so!
