Re: Jim Shore Christmas train

Have you checked Jim's website?  He has 20 or so trains (or engines) there.

@winter girl   Don't give up!  Maybe there will be returns, or as-is, or check the off-market sites, like poshmark, mercari, or amazon.

Many times people cancel their orders, especially late night buyers remorse. Smiley HappyI might suggest you keep checking back today, perhaps it might become available.

Good luck!

@winter girl  There's never a waitlist when there's no possibility of being able to get the item restocked in a reasonable period of time.

Re: Jim Shore Christmas train

I watched last night as I collect Jim Shore too.  That train is very cute.  I thought I heard the host say that the train was exclusive to QVC.  But I do see train pieces on his website, so maybe it was just certain pieces.  Or maybe I was hearing things.  Slightly off topic, I have watched that host before, don't know her name.  But she was kind of hard to listen to.   She kept repeating the same things over and over.  I just did not enjoy the show.

Re: Jim Shore Christmas train

Looking at the Jim Shore website it looks like the new train car becomes available there in January every year.

So the new car each year is probably exclusive to QVC just through December, then it goes for sale on Jim's site as well.

Also, looking back at old YouTube videos of the items and reading reviews, all the pieces come back into stock at QVC every holiday season.

Look for it to be sold at places like eBay, too.

Next year, start looking in July or August for them to start turning up on the QVC website.

Hope this helps. I'm sure you will be able to add it to your collection.

Re: Jim Shore Christmas train

I I was away from home and computer access so I called in to see if it was available ahead of time.  Of course it wasn't.  Then I called in when the show was on (during my night sleep) to see if an order operator could find the order and was told they were not available.  I am totally frustrated.  Put his shows on at a decent hour so all have an opportunity to order and for those who were in my situation away from total access, at least have an operator available who can search and place an order for you during the show.
