@San Antonio Gal- I've had that happen several times in the past.  I'd see something with a particular price, put it in my cart, only to have it show a much higher price.  I finally figured out, it was some kind of glitch with the lunchtime specials, but it was irritating nonetheless.

 

If you type "Lunchtime Special" into the search bar, all of todays LTSs come up, including your necklace with the price of $44.78.

 

My answer, when this happened to me, was to simply not purchase the item on principle.  In fact, I had it happen a day ago; a storage container I wanted was in my cart.  I lost my internet connection (lousy ISP), but managed to get back in just before 4:00.  It said the item was sold out.  But it appeared back in stock shortly after at, of course, a higher price.  I didn't even bother trying to get it at that point.

 

P.S.  No, it's not your computer.  It's something wrong with QVC's system!
