Item #H205314 - Joy Blocks

In November 2016, I ordered Valerie Parr Hill's item JOY blocks. When I received them I noticed that they always lighted up very nicely with a very slight flicker, now in January, they are now flickering alot. Just wondered if anyone has experienced this same problem, or whether they are not working properly and I should return them. I think the extra flickering is somewhat annoying.

@theQshopper I did not purchase this particular item but on an item I had purchased earlier when the batteries need to be changed it started out as a slow flicker and the longer the batteries went unchanged it flickered more & more, just a thought?

Good idea on the batteries. I've had problems with other Valerie items that switching batteries fixed the problem. Put in fresh batteries from a different brand that's in there. If that doesn't fix the problem, I'd say return them.

I purchased 5 sets...they all lit right up. I gave 3 sets as gifts. The two I kept do not flicker. I have only had them on the timer setting for maybe 3 weeks now.

They were great. My only complaint...I had to pay $5.00 a set( $25.00) for shipping and 4 came in one box.

PLEASE forgive me, I spoke too soon (or wrote too soon). I went and checked my two sets and they do indeed flicker...not on and off but kind of brighter and then not so bight. Like a candle flame. Also one of my Y blocks is brighter than the rest.My guess now is that they are designed this way. My batteries are fairly fresh and all 6 of the blocks 'flicker' .

By going to my orders I was able to find these blocks. Someone had asked that very question and someone from Valerie's office said they were suppose to have a 'slight flicker'.
