Update.  My friends's computer is sitting 3 miles from me in an UPS truck at the UPS Customer Care Center, been there since this morning.  I offered to drive down and pick up the computer and the UPS worker laughed at me and said it was on a truck and no one would go out to the truck to get the computer, stated they didn't care how much extra I paid, it would be delivered Monday and another snicker at me..  Really.  2nd day.
