I think UPS lost my QVC package...

I should have received it last week. Tracking shows it arrived at our area UPS hub on 8/3. Usually I get it within a day or two after that- depending on if it's delivered by UPS or taken to my local PO for final delivery. Do you think after being missing with no tracking scans for 5 days it will eventually show up?

 

I chatted with QVC today to see if they had any other info & she could only offer a refund- the product has sold out. I decided to hold off on the refund, for now, and keep my fingers crossed that this package will show up soon. I wanted to contact UPS to alert them that the package is missing but the only thing I could find online was a place to file a claim. Seems like they should have a place to report missing packages. Are they even aware it's missing?

Maybe it's one of those frustrating deliveries where UPS receives it in your city, but then hands it off to USPS to deliver the rest of the way.  That always adds a few days.  I hope you receive it soon.

@Tribesters This happened to me a couple of times. One time I called them and the other time I used live chat. On their website scroll down and on the left side you will find contact info. Good luck. I hope you get your package.

I have one coming from Amazon that was supposed to be here last Friday. Then I get a message that even though it said on Friday it was out for delivery it was misrouted and I would have to wait until Monday. Monday came and went then it was supposed to be today but now tracking says tomorrow. I don't think it's an Amazon problem. More of a UPS issue.

I didn't try calling them- I was trying to find a place to email or chat online. I wanted to find a local phone # & not the toll free one. I know the UPS guy will give me the local # I just haven't seen him lately.

It's been a while since I had a problem with a UPS or other delivery, but IIRC, by calling the toll-free line you can get a lot of data, and sometimes be put through to the local sorting station or whatever the hub is. I know when the UPS man delivered someone else's package to me a few years ago and I discovered the problem only 20 minutes after the delivery because I was waiting for the package, they got through to the driver and he came back and did the switch.

 

So I'd try calling the 800#. Even if it's being handed off, I would have expected that to show up in tracking by now.

Google your local UPS phone #.  UPS will put out a tracer for your package.

Thanks for the info- I just did the chat & it seems to be pretty automated. Just keeps sending me to FAQ's. So I tried emailing but they want my account # & I don't have one. I even picked the category that I was the "receiver." If I can't get a local phone # tomorrow I guess I'll have to call the toll-free #. Thanks for your help.

Thank you! That's what I want a tracer. Especially since the item is sold out.
