I'm beyond sick of orders that never show/delayed etc

Since the pandemic hit, I've had at least a half a dozen orders I've placed that showed in stock, went into processing, and later were either just never shipped, placed on backorder, cancelled for lack of product etc.

Why can't you get it right QVC?

I know these are challenging times, but this has been stuff on air, never 'sold out' during the presentation, and some of it even TSV items ordered days before presented on air. All never shipped, all never received.

Even advanced orders that won't ship for one to three months are not being identified as such in presentations or on the order once placed. We are assuming it should arrive in 7 to 10 days, but it can be months or just never show up at all.

It's become a guessing game as to whether or not any order placed will actually ship and when.

I'm wondering how you consider it good business practice to have hosts stand on air selling products that you either never had to ship, or didn't have enough, but oversold anyway. I mean what's the point, except to aggravate customers and drive them to another retailer?

Fed up with it.

@Mominohio   Maybe it's the type of merchandise you order, perhaps household or decorative items? They seem more susceptible to manufacturing/shipping delays.  I order mostly clothing and never have that happen.  When a factory in China has to close due to non-availability of supplies or illness of employees, there's not much QVC can do about it.  It's a sign of the times.  There are many things in scarce supply right now, even at the grocery store.

It's been the oddest assortment.

Luminara candles TSV ordered days before the event

Lessman Vitamins, supposedly domestic made, but probably with foreign components.

Food-Farmer Jon's popcorn totally domestic and ordered at the start of a presentation that actually never 'sold out'

VPH decor items

And then there is the issue of damaged and defective items more all the time as well.

Like I said, I get that these are challenging times, but why are they airing products they don't have or overselling what they do have? It seems pointless.

@Mominohio  You said it perfectly!! Same thing is happening with me and like you, it is an assortment of items. They are IN STOCK...then go to IN PROCESSING...and then after 10 days or longer...BACKORDER.....

I even wrote to the mods (who answered quickly) about a coat in process for a ong time and was told it would arrrive TODAY. It was backordered...

When I got up this morning and checked 3 of my orders and MORE time has been added to the ship date...I cancelled ALL of them......

I order from a variety of other sites and have no issues like this.....so I guess I will hold off ordering from here for awhile until they get things straightened out...

@Kachina624

I'm just the opposite!  All my 'things' have been received in record time, but most clothing has been delayed.

Clothes are VERY long in process, some have gone to backorder but I have eventually received everything....except my AD for potstickers which have been canceled twice now.

There is absolutely NOTHING I can't live without so I am patient and accepting of the way QVC does business.  I know the facts of how things are....if it bothered me, I would shop elsewhere.

I've really not had any issues.

I ordered 3 clothing items in mid to late September and all were delivered to me within 10 days of my order being placed.

@RespectLife    I'm getting all my clothing items within a reasonable time, one item recently shipping within 24 hours but most are about 3 days.  Like you, I'm not in a big rush.  They're winter things and it hasn't cooled off enough here to wear them.
