I ordered something for Valentine's day for a friend.  It was guarnteed to be recieved by the 13th, no later.  It never arrived and I was told it would be up until the 20th to be delivered.

I ordered in plenty of time - the 6th but it didn't happen.  I was given a refund and the order cancelled.

That's the least I would expect. The classy thing would have been to offer you some type of additional coupon.

Re: I Received a Refund

[ Edited ]

Knowing how uneven QVC's shipping and delivery are, I'd not think ordering on the 6th for the 14th is plenty of time.  Sometimes delivery is quick but often it's not. I ordered something on the 8th the delivery date for which has now changed multiple times. The current date is the 17th, almost ten days, which seems a bit long to me. Then again, I don't understand their warehousing system at all or know when something is shipping from them or directly from the vendor. In this instance, the item appears to be shipping from a QVC warehouse in California to a destination on the east coast. One wonders why items aren't warehoused in a way that makes more geographical sense. You simply can't charge for shipping, sometimes a lot, and then take ten days to deliver the goods and expect customers to like it.

At least they backed up their guarantee.  They didn't say "so sorry, so sad."
