Nancy H. spoke about gifts arriving in 10 days this A.M. I guess she and others really do not know what is currently going on? I am waiting 10 for three items to ship much less arrive in 10 days! I have heard posters mention this issue that the In Process and Preparing Your Order takes weeks sometimes. Ten years ago this could be true but not this year.
I just felt like she was so out of touch as to reality!! I'd rather not hear statements that are obviously not possible or true regarding receiving orders.

I agree. I ordered one Spiderman and one Batman helicopter toys on Nov 27th. I received the Spiderman one but the Batman is still stuck in CA and they were both shipped out on the same day! If it's not here by the 21st then I am sending the Spiderman back and will return the Batman when it gets here. They are for my two grandsons who are brothers so I can't very well give one his and not the other.

Dan was talking about delivery delays the other day, due to the situation at the delivery partners.

USPS shipping from AZ to PA took 22 days at a charge of $27. The package tracking ended at Philadelphia and I filled out the search form which seemed useless. USPS system is broken. There is an order sitting at my local post office for now four days without a delivery date. In my opinion the USPS should stop shipping all packages until the system is overhauled to accommodate online ordering.

some of us wouldn’t have the slightest idea there is any problem unless we read the forums or know someone who has had issues.

@Peaches McPhee Glad to hear a Host who is realistic and aware of the present shipping issues and delays. I dont even them mind saying arriving before Christmas, but 10 days is very very rare. Some customers may think 10 days is normal this year and out of touch.....

I have actually been very pleased with QVC's shipping so far this holiday season. My orders have shipped quickly & been received in a few days. I'm thinking they were all received about a week after ordering. Kudos to QVC!
I am, however, very concerned about my upcoming order of Mrs. Prindables apples. When I ordered the TSV in October I wanted them as close to Christmas as possible. Now I'm not sure shipping 12/14 is a good idea. They're perishable so should get an expedited shipping-right? Well my auto-delivery bagels are supposed to ship 2nd day air but have all shipped UPS ground. I don't think UPS ground will work for this time of year. Debated cancelling them. Not sure who will even be coming home for Christmas this year & when. I don't want to pay to ship them individually to people after I receive them. Too costly. I can't eat all 10 apples myself... Wish I had a crystal ball to see when they would arrive & when I would see my friends/family to hand them out.

I was at the post office yesterday. My husband sells stuff on EBAY. I was in line for an hour. The line went from one side of the building to the other. The place where you can just drop off you package or box because it's prepaid and ready to go was full (two of them). People couldn't put any more in there so there was a cart outside a door which was filled way beyond the top. It had to be over 6 feet tall. Only 3 post office employees working the walk up windows. It was a mess.

They are NOT false statements and they ARE possibly true. Some ppl DO receive their orders in 10 days.
You can't speak for every item shipped. There are thousands and thousands of orders placed every day. You are accusing her of being out of touch when you could not possibly know how fast anyone but you are receiving your items.
Sorry yours are not arriving as quick, but I have definitely received some of my orders that fast. Some not.
I just wouldn't nitpick on every statement they make. They are sales ppl and are paid to sell, A LOT! They are certainly not going to say we have no idea IF or When you Might get your order!

To me, this is a case of the hosts being unaware of the shipping difficulties. Before Covid, some would say that your item would be there in a few days. I don't think of 7-10 days as being a "few". I've always thought that the hosts were given talking points, and stuck to them, whether they were true in real life.
The shipping situation at QVC has caused me to shop elsewhere. I'm not good with handling the aggravation.
