Host Mispronouncing Common English Word Over And Over Again

I’m watching the Frye Leather show at 0100am and hearing Kristine Zell pronounce cognac (coney yack) over and over is ruining the show for me. Are the producers asleep upstairs? I’m not a snob, but I appreciate hosts that know the proper pronunciation of the English language. Can you please pass this to the producers so that they can correct her. Thank you.

@Bperl   I wouldn’t have brought it up, but it’s a common word, and she must have mispronounced it “coney yack” 20 times in that show. Someone who speaks for a living should know how to prounounce basic words of the English language. Hopefully someone will correct her. The producers sure didn’t.

I think she's the one that says jewel...lery instead of jewel...ry.

Here we go again.

Cognac is actually a french word.  Not everyone speaks french perfectly in America.

Isn't "cognac" a FRENCH word?

Both pronouncations of jewelry are correct.

@Ketra @Bperl   I haven't watched the videos yet, but QVC will never know unless you write them an email. Complaining on their forums won't do any good. At least an email might bring it to her attention or her supervisor(s). Language isn't her strong suit, is it? Now I'll watch the videos of those glorious leathers and hope she refrains from mentioning family and in-laws. <groan>
