Help with order sitting at PO since July 3

QVC shipped my package June 25. It's been sitting in a nearby USPS facility since July 3rd. It is NOT my Post Office. So I can't get it. I tried to submit a request to the USPS but they ask questions I can't answer. Such as Where did it ship from?

Can you help me? Image below shows the tracking. I can provide other info privately. Thanks in advance!

Re: Help with order sitting at PO since July 3

@KJPA    Several times I've completed a USPS search for missing package form.  They've always found my packages and just yesterday made a special trip to deliver one that sat in Phoenix for 11 days.  If you can't answer a question, leave it blank.

I find if I sign up for the tex/email updates, that keeps my packages moving a little better. You can do that on the usps website when you put in the tracking number. It will send you an email or text with the progression of your package.

I had a package sit at the post office for over a week.I filed a claim on the usps website. The day after,it moved and got delivered.Several days later,I got a call from them to make sure all is well.

I think you will make more headway with usps than qvc.

Good luck!

Re: Help with order sitting at PO since July 3

@KJPA - This has happened to me and is still going on. I ordered two tops in different colors in the same order the end of May. They were shipped in two packages. The tracking showed delivery to our local post office and another one on June 3 and 10. I called QVC the end of June and the CS rep told me the best thing would be to contact the post office. I called ours, and the postmaster said they were having trouble with packages coming from UPS. They did not have my package. He said I may or may not get it. I decided not to contact the other post office because it's not near us.

I called QVC. Of course the tops were sold out, so they credited my account. I was   disappointed because I order only things I really want, but there is nothing I can do.

Now I have a few more orders sitting in different post offices. All I can do is wait and see if I get them. Smiley Frustrated

@KJPA When I saw my pachage was at the local PO, I walked in and actually got to speak to the postmaster -  got my Q package 3 days BEFORE its EDD.

Maybe because mine is a small town PO?    although I don't know anyone personally at the PO.

@KJPA I've had a QVC package sitting at the Frankford DE Post Office since July 3rd too!  I submitted a "Where's My Package" request through the USPS web site on July 9th and haven't received a response yet.  They must be having some serious problems.

Re: Help with order sitting at PO since July 3

Looks like several fellow QVC shoppers have stepped up to reply to you & offer suggestions.  I notice that QVC customer service reps have NOT responded to you. I guess this is the "new normal" for QVC.  We place orders in good faith, expecting to receive what we order in a reasonable time, notwithstanding the issues QVC claims are the result of COVID19.  Hmmm, they have no problem taking our credit card information and "holding" the amount of the item on our cards, often very large amounts of $$.  But then, when we seek QVC's help, it's "hands-off" as far as QVC is concerned - we are left waiting for packages that often never arrive at all regardless of what the tracking information says.  Calling Customer Service is useless because they say they cannot do anything about it.  Really??  QVC claims these problems are all due to COVID19.  Well, why are other shopping sites not having this problem????  I shop with Nordstrom, Zappos, Amazon, Macy's, Ulta, even HSN, as well as many other sites.  I can find many of the same items that QVC sells, and I receive them with no issues at all, often times for less $$.  How is that possible?  With a global, multi-billion dollar company like QVC, you would think they could get their act together and provide some meaningful and useful customer service to us.  Many of us, like myself, have been shopping with QVC since they started.  I've been a QVC customer since 1988.  This is the 21st century.  We deserve good customer service if not for loyalty's sake, then at least for the thousands of $$ many of us have spent at QVC. After all, it is customers like us that made QVC what it is today.

I would really love to see a response from someone at QVC who is actually knowledgable.  QVC, we are well beyond the usual platitudes and "canned" apologies that you offer on your phone lines and website. These insult our intelligence. It is time to offer "real" assistance to resolve our problems with deliveries.  Please, no more apologies - that doesn't solve the problems.  We need your intervention with your vendors or UPS or USPS - now.

BTW, my Dooney & Bourke $286.00 handbag order has been sitting at your Ontario, CA facility since July 8, preparing to ship. Today is July 14.  It is still preparing to ship!  That facility is only 10 mins. from my home in Walnut, CA.  Why am I still waiting????  This was a birthday gift to me.  My birthday is tomorrow.  I need your assistance to get my bag, which I have been charged for, to my home.  CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME??  I called Customer Service this afternoon - they said they can't help me.  I got the same COVID19 excuse. I asked for a supervisor to call me. They said they would put in the request.  I hope someone will at least return my call.  The last time I asked for a return call in June regarding a similar problem, no one called.

Re: Help with order sitting at PO since July 3

Hello, My problem and I know I'm not a lone is the post office and UPS  said the tracking number isn't the right one But ,it's the only one I have so then what? The last UPS man that did deliver was so nice said he has worked for UPS for 30 yrs thanked Me for keeping him working . I told him about problems I was having he pointed out the tracking number on the box I checked it on the QVC tracking same number So when I call them to ask about a missing package why is the number not correct? It's insane.

@Review 2 That is interesting! My local post office here is Ocean View. The clerk in Ocean View told me there is no use going to that Frankford location because it's most likely a "warehouse" situation. I won't be able to ask them for it and must wait for it to get to Ocean View. She said they have pallets of packages and just not enough people to get to all of them.

Especially during the summer, with all the part time residents, they are always overwhelmed but I think this year is really bad! Probably a lot more shipments to homes due to COVID19. I guess eventually our packages will be discovered and delivered. Fortunately mine is not important but I did pay for it.
