@CANDLEQUEEN Try this it worked for me. I just added one number after my nickname and everything stayed the same such as number of posts. Try putting the number 1 after your nickname and see if that works.

And as an addendum, I went to my account settings to change my nickname, which I did (sucessfully, I thought).

They said that all prevous posts would be changed to my new nickname.

NO!!!!!  Did not happen.

    After editing to a new nickname, try hitting "save" - pause several seconds, if necessary hit it a second time.

➡  Then Sign OUT.

When you sign back in your new nick should appear.
