Hello QVC, Please send my rug !

Hello QVC....I ordered a rug on April 1, today is April 6 and the status is ''processing your order''.  I'm not ordering anything else from you until my rug ships.  It says that it's suppose to arrive by April 8...better get that bad boy shipped to meet that deadline !

So disappointing...I'd wanted it here by Easter !

The delay is likely because it's shipped by the vendor. In the majority of cases, it means nothing will arrive by the date Q says.

 

Just like at Christmas, one can't order 10-20 days ahead and expect Q to get it to you on time.

@sarahpanda I'm truly sorry you probably won't get the rug you were expecting in time for Easter. I know how disappointing that is especially for an event that you are planning it for. With that said, I'm not sure how much you read on this forum. There are so many complaints about items taking too long to ship.

 

My rule of thumb, never order from QVC, Zulily or HSN if I need something by a specific date that is within a couple weeks. I do receive most items within 1 week, however, many items may take 2 weeks, or longer. If an item is shipped directly from the vendor, QVC has no control over that. I would imagine if a vendor continually is slow in shipping, causing QVC to lose money, they may no longer use that vendor. I have no idea. But, I just don't order items needed quickly from QVC. I plan way ahead and am already buying for Christmas. I do think that would be plenty of time for me to receive my items.Smiley Wink

As luck would have it, 3 hours after I posted my original post about the rug not being shipped yet, I  GOT A NOTICE THAT IT'S BEEN SHIPPED AND WILL ARRIVE BY UPS TOMORROW.. YEP, LUCKY ME !!

@sarahpanda  I'm glad you are getting your rug. I ordered two runners at midnight. The multi and the gray floral. I received the gray one.

 

My account said the multi was returned but I never  received it. I called CS, but they are sold out. I didn't get a real reason for why it was shipped, not received, then marked returned.

 

The multi was the one I really wanted. So I was upset. Went on the big A, bought a similar one for $42, free shipping, so my disappointment is abated somewhat.

 

Still don't understand the issue. Both were ordered at the same time. QVC is not dependable any more. I also had to get refunds on three items I had returned and were not showing that status. Rachel in CS helped me. She was great.
