Guaranteed Delivery

[ Edited ]

My dughter ordered me Jai earrings that were guaranteed delivery by 12/22. As of 12/25 they weren't even shipped.   Rey disappointed in their promise when this was not the fault of usps, but they didn't even ship!

@Catch71 You must be new here.  That's an every-year occurrence as long as I can remember. The "guarantee" isn't worth the cyber-space it takes.  No penalty for not living up to the "guarantee"--not worth the space it occupies in cyber-space.

@Catch71   So sorry to hear that.  I'd definitely let QVC know about it!

I am not new here. My daughter is not a regular qvc shopper but she knows I like Jai jewelry and ordered earrings for me. She was disappointed nd felt bad that my gift was not here on the big day. I think it's turned her off to qvc now. Everything I ordered as gifts arrived in time, including the Dennis Basso throw which arrwived very fast! I just don't think they should guarantee delivery and then not even ship before the 25th.

@Catch71 I couldn't figure out what you meant by "quarantined"!

As I said on another post, there should be compensation when the Q fails to live up to it's guarantee. That might stop this.

I just returned an order that the vendor shipped, but not until well after the date I was supposed to receive it.   Too bad I didn't decide in time to cancel because I will not take another chance on a Conture item any time soon.  Since I'm already older than either of the old men wanting to be elected to the presidency in 2024, that most likely means never Conture.

First order ever for which I waited several weeks beyond its EDD.  BTW, I used the print your own return label and took my box to my favorite UPS store about noon.   I've already had an email from QVC that acknowledges the return.  Now to see how the financial aspect goes.
