I know there have been other threads about this issue . I'm so frustrated as I fall for it every year ! An item that I counted on , which was crazy of me , to arrive by the 23rd as it stated and with guaranteed delivery by Christmas is just sitting there . Oh it states shipped, But is going nowhere!! Now it says delivery on the 28th ! It is a special gift and I was so looking forward to giving it to her today on Christmas Eve . I know there are many of you feeling the same way it's not just me .. Thanks for letting me vent . Please QVC do better next year .
Oh let me add , I realize that the delivery companies are also involved and take some of the blame it isn't all on QvC.
Merry Christmas !
Happy Hanukkah !

QVC does not realize how much business they lose because of their shipping. If I need something quickly, or by a certain date, I cannot trust QVC. So they lose my order.
I may not be able to find the same thing, but something Is better than nothing. There are many things I've seen in the last couple of days I would've bought if I could trust them arriving on time, not for presents but just for me.

@Kitty Galore I feel for you but I no longer fall for that guarantee. I do shop early but I also find some last minute gifts to add that are just perfect for a certain person.......I don't have a lot of people to buy for so it's easier shopping for me. But I have to say I got an HSN email yesterday for a last minute item I decided to get for my daughter saying it would not arrive on time........however this morning it's out for delivery! So I hope this happens for you too!

This is so true. . . and I feel sad about it but if I need something in a timely manner I go to "A" because I know I will have it in just a few days. I would imagine they lose thousands of dollars a day because of the shipping issues.

I bought myself a hair tool last week from here because I had a 20 percent off coupon.
I saw they had the guarantee of Christmas delivery when I checked out.
Not a big deal for me since it's just something for myself and wasn't a gift.
Still, I work in shipping so I knew they would not make the deadline.
QVC shipped it "UPS SurePost". This is where UPS drops off the package to the post office for final delivery.
Having two separate shipping carriers handling holiday packages this late in the game and promising delivery is just ridiculous.
It arrived at my local UPS yesterday.
UPS dropped it off at the post office today.
Final delivery will be December 26th.
Had QVC shipped UPS Ground it would have been delivered yesterday.
I paid $5.50 shipping, so it's not like it was a free ship day and QVC is looking to save a buck.
Never rely on QVC for anything.
I did zero gift shopping from QVC this year.
Everything came from Amazon and arrived in 2 days as promised.
QVC just needs to stop promising this by the second week of December and they would be ok.

Guaranteed Delivery by Christmas is the biggest lie QVC tells. They can't guarantee that when it is shipped by so many different carriers. They just say it to get vulnerable people to keep buying. Biggest lie ever!!!

I bought something, not from QVC or HSN on the 17th. It was shipped on the 18th. It sat in NH for 2 days and is now in Illinois where it's been since the 21st. It's scheduled for delivery on December 30th. It doesn't matter since it's for me and not for Christmas, but just saying.

I fell for the guaranteed delivery by Christmas several years ago. I ordered an item for myself and the item was delivered a day or 2 after Christmas. I called Customer Service to ask about the guarantee and they refunded my S&H. That was the extent of the guarantee. Better than nothing.

I have a suggestion for QVC regarding the shipping that seems to always disappoint some shoppers based on "guarantee delivery by Christmas" advertising that they claim.
How about if the month of December, they offer free shipping if you don't need it by Christmas and can wait until January. All other items with normal shipping fees would be shipped out in time for Christmas and the items that I'm buying for myself can wait until the Christmas gifts are already mailed out. If the warehouse has mailed all the Christmas orders, then they can backfill with the New Year orders. I don't mind waiting for my items since they are just for me and I can certainly wait if offered a free shipping option.
Promote it as some sort of new year, new arrival - and those that are trying to get their items shipped in time for gifts can be priority in the shipping line, while the items I purchased (shirts and jackets) for myself can wait until after January 1 - when the shipping volume has died down a bit for QVC and USPS/UPS.
Should be easy to do, just have a box when checking out if needed by Christmas with normal shipping fees, or Happy New Year shipping with free shipping.
