@Leelee1123  There is obviously inconsistency depending what is returned where for an exchange.  I have not bad luck with exchanges due to incompetency on the part of return department refunding even when item in stock.  I have had items refunded when there was no stock available and when it was refunded all shipping (to me & back for exchange) was deducted from the refund....

if that is the case, you need to call CS or email qvcsocialteam@qvc.com or page a mod to issue you a refund since you requested an exchange.

@sunshine45  I do, more times than I care to count.....and the best result is email: qvcsocialteam@qvc.com....works fast and efficient!

The problem I've had with free exchanges is by the time your return is processed there's nothing left! I do like that HSN lets you do the excange yourself, so you know what you're getting. The order goes thru immediately. You do have to return the exchange item within 15 days I believe. It's never been a problem. I get the size & color I want or if they are sold out a full refund.

@DAD:  You are so right about HSN's exchange policy. It's the best! I wonder why QVC won't do the same?

I will be calling Customer Service shortly to ask them what happens with my particular situation -- I ordered the Vionic TSV on 6/1 in pink for a vacation coming up this weekend.  After 11 days they finally arrived but they sent the wrong color.  Order ticket clearly says pink.  Human error, not the end of the world.  But I needed them in pink to take with me.  Now there's no time to exchange them because of their fault so I will be returning them.  I sure hope they don't charge me for shipping.

 

Anyone have this happen to them?

I returned an item for a different size...I finally did a live chat because I was not notified that the shirt was being sent back to me...customer service told me that my size was sold out...and they had already issued a refund....hmmmm, I looked on line and NO IT WAS NOT sold out!! I did contact the moderators on the forums and they told me that if inventory was low I would not get my exchange, that makes no sense to me!!  

 

Since I was talking with one of the moderators on these forums she reordered the item for me but sheesh, it made absolutely no sense to me...my size was available, (just low on quantity) but for some reason or policy, they just refunded my account!

 

QVC needs to adapt the policy of HSN when it comes to exchanges...they send out your exchanged item right away, if your return is not received within 30 days you are charged for both items.
