Re: Financial department holding funds hostage

@Mzbetters  The phone number for Quarter Retail Group is 484-701-1000. I would contact them and let the.know what you have encountered. Let them know you need your refund immediately.

If this fails, call your State Senator and let them get involved. This is not going to end until you escalate your claim. I used to be a Credit and Collections Manager and would escalate my demand until a resolution. I became very successful. Never give up and never stop trying.

I am sorry for all your heartache. I wish I could help you. Keep us informed. Take care.

@elated , God Bless You for supplying the phone number to the OP.

My heart, as well as yours, goes out to her.  There is no reason why they should be holding onto her money.  It's not right.

I agree with you; she should keep on "squeaking the wheel".

@HisElk1 @elated @Mzbetters Agree, thanks so much for helping the OP w/contact #.

The only thing I can think might b the problem if it was a prepaid credit card that was used but after this many days whatever the issue QVC should fix it.

Re: Financial department holding funds hostage

Day 21. Still no funds. Still in Bizarro world! I was told in an email this morning that the financial department got back to customer service and said they sent the request on May 25. Wow!!! Have to wait again!! Wonder how long this will take? Can you believe this? Nevermind being lied too, but to confirm that you sent the request yesterday? Unreal. You know I won't see this until June, if I see it at all.

Re: Financial department holding funds hostage

I didn't realize that I was part of a statistical research in QVC's business practices.

93% of customers are likely to make repeat purchases with companies who offer excellent customer service.

What's the cost of poor customer service? About $75 billion annually.

Making me feel like a Guinea pig, is not the right choice.

That's just crazy. Don't know what is wrong with these corporations. It's the consumer that makes them. Just love the excuses. Sorry you went through that and I bet they didn't offer anything to you as an appology.

Re: Financial department holding funds hostage

@Mzbetters , I have been following your posts about this situation.  This is one of the biggest reasons why I rarely purchase anything from Q.

This company is not the same as it was back in the early 2000's.  One didn't have to wait what seemed to be forever to be credited for funds on returns.  And in those days, the S&H was even credited back, but no more.

The answer you received back from the office of the president is a bunch of krap IMO, along with the email you received.

I highly suggest you contact your bank and dispute that charge; at least start there and get things in writing to cover your arse.

[ Edited ]

The first thing i would have done was file a dispute with my Bank. I have never had a problem with QVC and money.

Have had disputes with other Companies charging for things that I never authorized. I must say that Chase always came throught for me ( although others have had problems with them) and my account was credited right away while they took care of the dispute.

Two with a Debit Card and one with a Credit Card.
