Facebook question (part 2!!!))

I'm embarrassed to admit that I kind of misinformed everyone on my earlier question.  These foreign names are not coming under "friend requests", but below that under "people you might know".  Is there a different setting for that?  (So sorry!)

I don't even pay attention to those. Only see them if you are looking at friend request area which I only go into to see who sent me a friend request.  I would just ignore them.

I just ignore those.  I don't look at them.

I don't know about a different setting but just ignore them and NEVER click on them unless you are sure  you know them.  Often they are people who (in some small (very small way) know someone you MIGHT know, although you don't don't the person.  It is sometimes so remote it's crazy.  For instance, I get names from my teenage nieces and nephews 'friends' as someone I MIGHT know just because THEY know them.  Often young people (they used to anyway) click on these names just so they could have X number of friends and might not even know them.

These days most young people don't use facebook, so there isn't much worry of any of that.

Many of them use things I never even heard of.  Ha!

Also, one interesting observation, they don't watch much TV either.  I'm old, I want my TV viewing for as long as I can keep my eyes open and I know where I am!

That is usually a list of "Friends of your "Friends" of those who are already on your list. Also friends of family members. Can be risky to add them as I once found out. I had to block them (a creepy stalker) and a high school classmate who became a creep. Best to ignore unless you really know them well.
