When you return a clothing item for different color do you get a notice telling you they received it and sending out another or another in that size is not available or do they just make the adjustment on your account and say nothing.

@chiclet  Only if you check off the box that asks for confirmation.  Otherwise they just do whatever you request.....  IF YOU'RE LUCKY.  I've tried to exchange things twice the past year and they've been CREDITED, even though the item was in stock.   I'm trying it one more time today.....  purchased 2 Linea tops in Small and want the Medium.  My fingers are crossed!

I have done many returns and usually check the box but never done an exchange but since supposedly free exchanges I thought I would try it.

I've just had to return a ring for a smaller size.  Sent it off yesterday, so I'm also waiting to see how this exchange works.  In the past (and I'm talking years ago), I never had any luck with trying to exchange things; they always just refunded me.  I'm hoping they have a better system in place now.

Hi @Venezia, I found the order with that item number. I have commented your account not to refund exchange requested. Hopefully that will work and we will have your size.

@Anonymous  Hi Alice.  I've been a QVC customer since the beginning...  over 30 years.  My last exchange was not a success either ...  it was credited instead and I had to call and get my return postage refunded and reorder what I wanted (which could have been done as an exchange). 

I just sent 2 Linea items back yesterday for exchange (item A217629).  If there is any way to put a note on my account/order as well, it would be appreciated.  Both items I need are still in stock. Thanks so much for your help.

Not a problem @nyc1. I have commented our account to exchange. Hopefully your size will be available when the return is received.
