Just got my order today. I am normally a medium but both blouses are too big. Called customer service and all they can say is hopefully they have them when we receive your return. When I buy at Banana Republic,Amazon or other online retailers I never get that. They mail me the item I wanted in new size and they wait for the return . Why can’t QVC who has been a retailer for a long time get this right all ready. Trust that your customer is going to send you back the return. You have tracking on return so you do know that it was return to you. Also when you open the package you will know that merchandise was the correct one. Why such distrust.

@Nbo

It would be so great if QVC would do this.

Sending 2nd item out before 1st one is received back could be risky business.  I agree it would be nice but perhaps Q has been burned........and never received the first item back.  If I ran a company I wouldn't do it either.

Qvc is not a small mom and pop store. They are huge. I have been shopping with qvc for 3 decades and they have never had a problem with my returns. I know they are not Amazon but that is why Amazon is going to take over. Stop with decades old mentality and start treating customers better.

Those companies who ship the replacement right away, give you 15 days to return the original item, or you will be charged for both items.

QVC could do the same, no risk there.

And then some companies call it a “quick exchange or return” and send out the new item immediately but charge you for it when they send it.  Only when they receive your returned item do you get a credit.

I have done quick exchange from many retailers and I guess I have been lucky because I have never been charged. But if they do they better be prepare that Amazon is going after every retailer out there,to take their business from them. Amazon is into everything and I am sure that soon they will go after retail tv.

@geezerette YES - you're right I have had that happen to me in the past - had forgotten about it.  That makes sense......charged for both until one is returned.  (that could be.....too complicate for QVC accounting dept) !!!!!

However, to put a fly in the ointment,,,from postings here Q uses a special carrier to return product and I read that it sometimes sits at the post office for 10 or more days - not moving.  That 15 day window would have to considered.

I don't buy much and return less..............so I lose no sleep over this issue

Amazon is only about 100 times bigger than QVC.   The billion dollats they take in before they sell a single item must really protect them against cheaters.

I've always known there were cheaters in the retail world but I didn't know how bad until I started to do investigations when I wanted to invest in some companies.  Way too many people do not think stealing from a company like QVC is even immoral lety alone illegal.

OP,

I sent a clothing item back for an exchange towards the end of August and as of yesterday the only thing I knew was that it had been delivered back to them so I called CS and the girl I spoke to said she would take care of having another one shipped to me.  My advice to you is to wait a reasonable time, say a week and then call them and see if they will take care of it for you.  It seems to me that my exchange was in limbo and nothing was going to happen on their end without me goosing it along.  I don't understand the way this company is run, the service is terrible and I swear the pony express stage coaches of the 1800's could deliver packages quicker than QVC.
