I put an item in my shopping cart, and it said 4 easy pays. When I went to check out, the easy pays went down to 3. I chatted with a CS rep, and she was no help. After talking with another rep by phone, she gave me the 4 easy pays. Why is there a discrepancy on the QVC site?

This happened again just now. I put a different item in my cart, and it said 4 easy pays. When I checked out, the easy pays dropped down to only 3. These were 2 different items - and both have the same easy pay mistake.

@Carol08Maybe the 4 EZP was just for the hour???
I have no idea since I pretty much never pay attention, but I know Macy's advertises sales all the time where the price changes during the day - you miss the timing of the sale and you're out of luck. You pay a higher price!
I'm not sure why one rep could give you the 4 and another couldn't, but I do know they;re all working in different places and probably get very different information or just never see all there is to see.
Years ago a friend worked for a large organization in a huge room where there were over 500 CS reps working. I'd bet my last dollar that they didn't all tell people the same thing as the person working 5 phones away from them.
And now, with lots of CS reps working alone in their own homes???? - when I don't like what I'm hearing, I hang up and try again with a new rep! Haven't had to do that yet at QVC, but did it just with week with AT&T - first rep was totally useless.

The items have been changed back to 3 easy pays now. There was a glitch in the system, but I wish someone would look into this. It is discouraging to get incorrect information.

@Carol08, well, could this be a 'bait and switch' situation? ... "Bait" with 4 EZ Pays and then "Switch" to 3 ... naw, just a Q glitch.

I tried to copy the Q banner that showed 4 EZ Pays but for some reason I couldn't.
Well, at least you were able to get an item w/4.

I tried to copy that 4 Easy Pay Banner, also - to show to the rep with whom I was chatting.....but was unable to. She acted like she thought I was lying - and kept reiterating that only 3 easy pays were listed. I asked why there were 4 when it showed up in my shopping cart, and she didn't believe me. It was very frustrating.

@Carol08 Sounds familiar. I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago when the banner at the top of my screen advertised easy pays. I looked up an item that I wanted and it wasn't on easy pay. So I went back to make sure that I'd read it correctly and the banner was there which said that everything was on easy pay. I called customer service and asked for help and got the same response as you. Finally, I was handed over to someone else who approved the easy pay. Why would I make this up when the banner was at the very top of my screen? She still didn't believe me since she couldn't find it on her computer.
