EDD on an order on waitlist?

I don't buy from QVC very often anymore but I've had an order on waitlist just since the 4th of this month. I checked today to see if anything had changed and it is still showing on waitlist  but an EDD date for the 9/15 is showing up now. Called CS and they cannot tell me why, just that it is still on waitlist. Would be confusing if it wasn't QVC. Just from reading on here about some of the things that they do these days, I guess this is not surprising.
