I received my order of bagels and they are awful. Directions say to put them in the oven or microwave to crisp. Nothing was said about this in the presentation. No one available in Customer Service. They were costly but I am throwing them away Any chance of at least a partial refund?

all you have to do is call or email customer service and they will refund you. qvcsocialteam@qvc.com.
perhaps you could see if anyone wants to try them (friends, family, neighbors) before you just throw them out? bagels are not "crispy" until you toast them or put them in the oven.

I wasn't crazy about those bagels either, but toast them and they won't be bad.

If you have a Trader Joe's near you, try their bagels especially the cinammon/raisin. We are native New Yorkers and these are the best we've found outside that city.

If you check the CC board you will see that they do respond to these emails.
But I'm wondering what is it about the processing of warming them that seems to have you so angry?

Bagels have always needed help - toasting - or they are just a hunk of dough. I've ordered twice and now done with them....but microwave (split first) for 3 seconds and then toast and slap with butter.
........when the baker brags about NY City water makes the difference...I laugh. Can't imagine what all is in NY water (ugh).....now Colorado pure water I'd believe. NY has an underground full of sewer pipes along WITH water pipes. Not a good selling point to me.

Please do not denigrate something about which you know nothing about. NYC water is known to be some of the best tasting water in the country. FYI. a good bagel does not need to be toasted. IT is delicous straight from the bakery with just a little butter. I can't imagine anyone buying bagels from QVC. Then again, I feel that way about pretty much all the food sold here.

When I buy bagels at my local bagel shop, the only way I like them after the day they came out of their water bath and were baked is after they take a trip in the toaster or toaster oven, but given preference, I forego the savings from buying bagels in bilk and buy one at a time.
I'm happy to have a great bagel shop close to my summer apartment - hadn't had a good bagel during my whole winter season in Florida!

So, you had an issue with warming up the bagels in the microwave or toaster oven? 😱
What did you expect? To just open the package and eat?
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, call QVC Customer Service. Ask for a refund.
Good luck.
