@Loves Cats 80 I totally u deer stand your frustration I am totally frustrated today as well !!

i received an item yesterday that is defective .  I put the invoice in the box , taped up box , fixed the label provided then went to  post office and they said there was no code to scan to return to QVC . 2 codes on package one from ups and second ups sending to post office .   If they scanned the package would just loop around back to me again !!!!   I wrote to customer care and my reply was you dont need a printer just go to qvc.com to send back to ups .First of all not sending to ups as it's far from my house , post office 5 minutes away . Secondly still need a printer to print a label , which i stated isn't working right now ...Geez !  This is so much trouble to to send back an item !  Send the proper return label and that would elevate this issue .  I'm still waiting to hear where I go from here as I did email them  back .

@Kitty Galore - It sounds like you may have accidentally attached the label from the shipment that was delivered to you rather than the return label; they're right next to each other on the sticker sheet when it's provided, so it's understandable that this could happen. To make sure you use the correct label, check for your return address in the upper left corner and make sure the information around the big barcode in the center shows language such as "return service." Hope you figure this out!

@loriqvc . I didn't do that,  but I do see how that could happen pretty easily.  I have gotten it figured out for this return with CS social team .  I know what to do next time if I do t get an included label .  Thanks😺

make sure all bar codes and stickers that were originally on the package are removed and/or covered completely. if it was something in a bag, like an article of clothing, turn the bag inside out when shipping back.

@haddon9

I stand in line because I want a receipt in case I have to prove I returned it.

For me, when I have a return label I put it in my mailbox with a note for mail carrier to please mail. If its a box, I'll watch for him & hand it to him. The nice thing is, I DONT have to DRIVE ANYWHERE!

But doing it that way you have no receipt that you mailed it back. I always take it to the post office and get a receipt, just in case they say they didn't get it.

Update - got two packages today and one had the return label and one did not, so the inconsistency is still consistent.

Today I received the sticky label and it read 1 of 3 peel. There was only one, and it wasn't a return label.

This isn't the first time.

I asked CS to please email me a label. They didn't. The emailed me their new instructions instead of the label, but insisted they did email the label.

They told me to take it to USPS or UPS and they'll do it. I understand the whole deal.

The problem is, I live in one of the biggest cities in the US and when I tried this once, USPS said they don't have time to do this for their customers because they are crowded. Imagine?
So there goes that.

I did go to a UPS and sent it that way. I still like the labels included. I peel and 1,2,3 it's on  the package and handed  to the mailman, without having to a hump to a location and take guff from them!

They're still on television selling that old fashioned way, so why not give the option of returning the old fashioned way too?

They know many of their customers are from the old school and they should respect that.

Re: Did you know? Returns

[ Edited ]

@Catch71 Have never had a problem with no receipts. The only time I have been given scanned receipts was from ups not us mail. The mail carrier scans the package often in my presence so I know it's in their system.   Can also write down tracking number or take a picture of return label with tracking  if its that important to you.

Also sometimes I email QVC returns with order number info they send credit in a few days. No need to be concerned.

I'll do anything to avoid the crazy traffic, waiting in line a half hour+ at post office & adding to air pollution.

@Catch71 I had an issue recently where I got an email from QVC easy returns asking me about the tracking number to one of my returns.  I told them I didn't have it but gave them an idea of what it was since I had also returned an item in the same package that had been processed.  That seemed to settle it.

However, I now take a photo of the shipping label on the package before I ship with tracking number.  I also write a small note of what the item is that I add to the picture (for my own reference) in case I get another message from QVC asking for the tracking number.
