Delivery Issue - UPS - Weird?

I ordered the Ninja Swirl over Black Friday weekend, and UPS "supposedly" delivered in on Dec 3. Tracking shows they left it at the front door of my apt. I was home, they didn't. I tried getting a hold of UPS 5 minutes after they "supposedly" delivered it. They were never at my place - I have cameras.  I checked the buildings around me, nothing.

 

UPS was zero help - told me to reach out to QVC, so I did.  Here's the WEIRD part - QVC told me I have to wait UNTIL THE 10TH to report it not delivered... even though UPS shows it delviered?  WTF?

Anybody else run into this issue?

It's been my experience that even though a package has been shown as delivered, that doesn't make it so. Often it's not delivered until a few days later.

 

It's also been my experience that a package will arrive on my doorstep days before its expected arrival.

Yes 10 days is the standard before a claim can be filed with UPS.  It's like that for al companies.  I'm currently waiting 5 more days to file a claim for a box from macys that wasn't delivered.

@LP18inCA They are waiting to see if a neighbor brings it over to you.

I do not understand what is going on with delivery companies.

FedEx can NOT get a package to my actual address. Amazon is 50% of the time. UPS usually does & the Post Office is great.

I have my address on my mailbox. 

I have a delivery box slightly down my long driveway with my address & it says "For Deliveries", I have an actual house at the end of my driveway.

I have notes listed in the delivery company's site, when possible.

And, the tracking & delivery itself, especially again with FedEx is ridiculous!

Your package is out for delivery. It sends me this message for 3 days, before it is ACTUALLY out for delivery.

Things are scanned & then just disappear for days.

Things are scheduled & then "Thanks for your understaning. (I do not understand.) but your package isn't going to be delivered on that day or maybe even in that week!

My Veho (What is Veho?) driver yesterday did get to my address, brought the package back to my house. I was just leaving, so I sent to his car, just a car. No company or identifier on it.

He had held up the package. Which I was expecting.

When he opened the door the smell of a Cheech & Chong movie that rolled out of there!

But, he was friendly, on time & at the right address.

Etoile30i -;I've had that happen with the fly by night delivery services that have popped up, but never UPS.
