Why can you delete some threads you make but sometimes you cannot?

Hi @FlowerBear I believe when you are the original poster you can delete your comment before someone else posts, but if you try after someone else posts you can not delete your comment. You should be able to edit it if there is something specific you want to take out.

if other posters use the reply button at the top of the thread as they should, you can delete your posts.
But once someone uses the reply button on your post, you can no longer delete your post.
doesn't matter if they just use use 'your' reply button as a convenience and don't reply specifically to you, or quote you.
