Credit for Returns Taking Too Long

I've checked online and at least four items I returned over the last six weeks or so have been delivered back to the correct address for QVC yet no credit given.  Why does it take weeks for any credit (however little it may be according to their system) to be put back on my account?  I'm not ordering any more at all until these items are credited.  I've called in the past but sometimes the representative says I "just have to wait."  Anyway the merchandise now is so much higher priced that I'm not even tempted anymore so that's good for me. QVC isn't like it used to be in a lot of ways.

This is why I no longer order from here.  Don't know why Q doesn't fix the problems.  It's been like this for many years, at least for me.

Re: Credit for Returns Taking Too Long

QVC return credits take forever.  If the return tracking shows it's been received at the Q destination I call and ask for my refund.

If the rep tells you "you have to wait" call back and speak to someone else.  If you do nothing but wait it can take 3-4 weeks for your credit to appear.  Way too long IMO.

Agreed, returned an item over a week ago....every other vendor online I buy from, not just Amazon, but Loft, Walmart, H&M, immediately your credit is either there right

after you process the return or within the day.

QVC takes up to 2 wks, IF you're lucky! Usually if it goes over the two wks I'll contact cust. svc. and then, voila' there's my refund in a day. Why does it take that?! No one needs these extra "administrative" steps on OUR end, when it's YOUR job, not mine to sort it out.

I returned a LOGO top that "fit" too big, annoyed I even had to pay 6.95 to do so...my usual XS fit more like a big Small. Awful looking on. Anyway, returned it about 10 days ago...still no refund or return showing. Annoying. I know I'll get it eventually, but don't understand why they are SO behind the times with these things.

@InStitches49 @PinkyPetunia @Sunshine Kate

The times I have been waiting for credits to my account for returns were also times of no buying for me.

Makes me wonder if credits are prioritized a certain way,,,

For instance, if one is a frequent buyer and suddenly stops, perhaps accounts are flagged and the credit put through faster?

Re: Credit for Returns Taking Too Long

I only order from here if I'm 99% sure of keeping it.  Don't order much and rarely return anything.  IMO the fact that it takes so long for refunds reflects the fact that Qurate has financial problems and needs the "cash flow."

@InStitches49.  CS can verify that they've received your return and credit you immediately. If the rep won't do it, hang up and call another.

You can also contact the social team by email including your order numbers at:

If your return has been received and you're informed you're means of payment will be credited, then the delay is on the part of that financial institution.

My credit card company notifies me a credit is pending, and is credited within two days.

Not all credit card companies are the same. If you're using a Q card, the delay may be with Synchrony Bank.

@InStitches49 - I second what @Kachina624 wrote: Send an email to the Social Team and they'll help you right away. I was a bit of a pest this week and sent three requests for assistance, but they were all resolved within a few hours, reflecting the level of service I always receive from this great team.

In the future, I recommend reaching out to the Social Team via email or chatting with customer service soon after you get your return/exchange on its way. If you send the package via the USPS, wait until you see a status alert that it has been picked up by an agent. If you send the package via UPS, wait until you see that it has made it from the pickup location to a new location. At either of those points, the service team can easily confirm your return and refund your money or process an exchange. Good luck!

Re: Credit for Returns Taking Too Long

Return credits take forever, but purchases are "pending" on the credit card almost immediately.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.
