was working a couple hours ago now I try to start a message and my keyboard disappears and I can't type anything.   I can reply to messages like now , but can't start any message it won't let me it dissapears !!   I sure hope they fix whatever is going on .   On my iPad with safari .

@Kitty Galore this is 100% happening to me today. I have to use the voice to text option to keep typing.

@ajsidney12    I'm still having that same issue ,  can't type the heading for a new message ,  it just drops off !   I do t know if they are aware of this issue and are even working on it .   Do you still have the same issue ?
