@stevieb  Mod Wayne confirmed it under the Suggestions Forum. Just saw it.

@proudlyfromNJ  So I see... Apparently we were lied to a few months back when told earlier these forums were not being replaced... And no, despite their 'confidence' we'd just simply love-love-love Facebook, some of us will not be joining the migration... What a shabby way to treat the community and yet another example of the clear lack of respect shown for customers. When they shut us down, I shut them down and there'll be no more QVC for me...

@stevieb  I think many will not be going over to FB instead of using these forums. And many say they will not be shopping here anymore. I think it will end up biting them in the end.

@proudlyfromNJ  I certainly hope so... Hey, it isn't as though this is such an exceptional shopping experience, with great prices and fast, free shipping that none of us can live without...

@stevieb  That's for sure!!

Re: Closing Blogs? Closing Forums? Closing Both?

Sorry to see this form of communication disappear.  It was helpful many times to read pet lovers and community chat.  But I guess all good things come to an end.  I hope reviews of products continue and nutritional information of food products.  Complaints of shipping and hosts and programs helped customers air frustrations but probably not listened to.  Hosts and programs try and make us all feel like members of a family but corporate cuts got the edge..."cutting" edge.  Problem is QVC is now just like everyone else in online retail...and without a change in shipping fees and fast returns I doubt the bottom line improves.

Well, this really stinks.  These forums were fun and informative.  Anyone else know what forums are out there that we can communicate on?  If so, please post!

They have set up the FB site as "private" but it has over 19K members. That's not private enough for me as I don't use a nickname on FB.

They should care @Venezia QVC was one of the pioneers of home shopping, but now it's a dinosaur model. This small group of posters have their finger on the pulse of what is going on from the customer prospective.

There are issues with shipping. Both ridiculous shipping charges, and slow shipping.  They have hosts talking about everything, but the product. They don't always offer the best deal etc. In some cases both the Q, and V are missing. Quality is not always that great, and value is definitely not there. Convenience is up in the air.

Searching BLOGS only sends you to FACEBOOK. That's a big NO for me...and others!  Big mistake canceling the Blogs and Forums. Unfortunately, you will find that out on Nov. 3rd.

@manny2 - I agree with what you've said.  In fact, I just posted a similar comment on another thread.

But the fact that they've now chosen to close these forums (after assuring us months ago that there was no truth to that rumor), shows that, at least for this group of customers/posters, we are expendable.

Do they honestly think we'll blindly follow them to their new "fun" place on Facebook?  Not happening for me.

I wish you well in the future.  Maybe we'll all find a new forum somewhere to continue chatting!
