@Slopester

I don't believe the Q is required to follow religious law and/or customs.  Are you expecting them to sell only Kosher food, too????

@Desertdi Shame on you.

And as an aside: Not all Jews keep Kosher.

I worked at one company for more than 20 years. This company had offices all over the US and also had many locations  internationally.  The business itself was an international business.  I worked with people from all over the world. Come holiday time, Corporate would heavily decorate for Christmas the 4 floors we took up space in, in our headquarters building. It was beautiful!  But an international company dealing with all ethnicities, races,  religions and clients from everywhere visiting often, you would think that for business purposes alone,  acknowledgement to others would exist.

I would bring in a little menorah and place it not on my desk but on some random table next to a little tree or nutcracker.   Some coworkers of other faiths would also bring in some stuff.

I've learned to be understanding to those that sometimes forget or don't know the exact date or exact way that a holiday is observed. IMO it is unreasonable to expect the majority to know the candle lighting procedure.   Love and kindness is more important than anything else.

Since Menorahs are on set they should add candles per tradition. Happy holidays to all!

I think we should be thankful that the Q has good intentions.

@Desertdi - There was no huge condemnation over the candle issue.  It is a matter of respect to try to follow the correct tradition. For example, representing the correct number of people in a nativity scene would be expected and appreciated.
